- The cost of chassis, powertrain, suspension, and aerodynamic components
- The cost of the materials for fabrication
Not included in the cost are:
- Labour
- Tools
Costs can vary wildly, even among vehicles of the same race vehicle type, and therefore the score is meant to show only a relative level to other race vehicle types.
